CONTAD HOTEL

The final 3 days, we stayed CONRAD Hotel which is high ranked in the world. CONRAD Hotel is in Nusa Dua which is south of Bali and is the area only for foreigners. Compared to Ubud and Kuta, Nusa Dua is totally different. It seemed like it is made for foreigners who want to put themselves in "RESORT situation". Everything was like unreal in positive way. I was in a dream!

During we stay in CONRAD, we went to Bali collection, Spa and massage, swim in the pool. We could watch Bali dance in the restaurant in the hotel. That was fantastic.

Nature, History in Ubud

In the 1st day in Ubud, we turned around Ubud city to go shopping, get some souveniors for mi amigas. In shopping area, it was just a war of discount. I discounted and discounted again. It took long time to get just a one thing. At that night, we watched Kecak dance which is one of Balinese' traditional dance. It was fire dance and really exciting.

In the 2nd day, we went to Ayung River to do rafting! It was first time for me! Honestly, I was shocked. about what? That nature! River was wide and huge jungle has been surrounding us. I lost my words, could not take a breath. It was just a great.

After that, we traveled to Tanah Lot Temple which is famous of sunset view. Unfortunately, at that day, it was cloudy so we couldn't catch the sun coming down, but still nice view.

Moving to Ubud

After we stayed at Menjangan for 3 nights, we moved to Ubud. During this car trip, I beg to driver to drop by Kintamani where has the mountain named Gunung Batur, and the lake named Toya Bungkah in Bali. There are some restaurants. We can see the nice view of the mountain and lake from really high position.

After the lunch, we were heading to the hotel IBAH in Ubud. IBAH is also really special hotel, because they have only 8 villas in huge jangle area. I felt like a princess.

Diver's day

On the 3rd day, we started to wake our body up and headed to Menjangan dive spot by boat. We dived 2 times a day, one in the morning, and another dive in the afternoon. They were called "Menjangan Slope" and "Coral Garden". Im my opinion, the 2nd one was more gorgeous and rich view, becouse of the coral. I kind of envied fish! We found Nimo from Disney, families of squal, many beautiful fish, which I don't know how to call in English. At the lunch time, I had Nashi-Goren and my boyfriend had Mi-Goren.

Staying Mimpi Resort in Menjangan

Menjangan is positioned in the northern east in Bali. This is the little island for divers. Bali is famous for surfing usual, but this is one of the essential spot to dive to see the beautiful fish and coral.

On the 2nd day, we ofcourse slept over until noon.We decided not to dive this day and walk around the hotel. We stayed in a Villa, which had own hot spring in our Villa. That was really nice. I just don't know how many times I jumped into MY hot spring during my stay!

Arriving Bali

It was like a nightmare. We arrived Ngurah Rai Airport at 10:30 PM August 2nd. We could not take a break, we started to move to Menjangan Island. It took about 4 hours by car. We took a ban to move. We went up and down to the mountains and sometimes along the river, but dark. My boyfriend, Daisuke and me were diziled and felt really bad. We finally arrived our hotel "Mimpi Resort" at over 2 AM. We were completely exhausted.
